FINANCE

The Parish Council is required to prepare a Financial Statement for submission to the external auditor in June of each year, for the previous financial year.   The Financial Statement also includes a breakdown of all purchases, receipts, risk assessments, asset register and an explanation of variances from the previous year.

Precept 2017/18

Each year the Parish Council has to prepare a budget in order to assess how much Precept will be required for the forthcoming year.   This year we had to ask for a 5% increase over last year, in order to meet new expenditure items and inflationary increases.The increase represents £1.23 per annum on Band D Council Tax.   To download pie chart click here
